Mike began playing guitar over thirty years ago after being inspired by the gypsy musicians strumming on the streets of San Francisco. After seeing his nephew's passion for music, his Uncle Tony presented Mike with his first guitar, a Harmony acoustic. A wide range of influences reflect his musical upbringing: artists like Stephen Stills and Lyle Lovett show up in acoustic playing and singing, while the blues-rock riffs of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan are sources of inspiration for electric playing. Whether strumming and using finger style in support of the tune and vocals or stepping out front, turning it up and ripping out fiery electric lead with a full band, you’ll hear an exciting and soulful guitarist and singer.
